Wall Street Journal Revs Up New York Times Rivalry


Well, I'm partial to those ideas alright, but I have also recently come to believe that a city needs the equivalent of a newspaper - a public record and bulletin board - and one way to achieve that might be to let a controlled, horizontal monopoly of print, radio, internet, and TV, be allowed to compete to become the way to achieve that end; I'd hate to cut off that potential.



But on second thought, you're probably right... off with their heads!
