'Wellywood' Sign Has Hollywood Seeing Double

Love the snarky crack about Hollywood having "attitudes that few New Zealanders would want to mimic." I happen to be from Hollywood and trust me - nobody there is even remotely interested in emulating judgmental know-nothi­ng New Zealanders pretending to make acceptable wine.



But "Wellywood­" ?? We'd heard that nobody ever gets wood of any sort down there - especially the right-wing skinheads in Auckland, so why draw attention to it?
