Geesus Barack !! this is right at the center of our concern as citizens - drug costs. And if there is going to be a sweetheart deal with drug makers to guarantee their huge profits then I am incredibly pissed off. That idea sucks muddy rocks from every perspective. You will have sold us out - and for no value whatsoever for the public. We will have our money sucked out of our lives and you will be the reason.
Under no circumstance can I support you if this is your plan. There is no excuse that will ever satisfy me - if the drug makers are extorting, then arrest and indict them. If they are threatening you with political blackmail, then tell us.
But if this is to be your plan, then go away - I cannot bare to look at the man for whom the blame belongs.
