Speaking of "exists", that's the issue. The iPad doesn't exist yet.
What Apple has given us is something that TRIES to speak to a specific market, but evidently is presenting frustration and tech issues to that market - which is a market that doesn't ever want to hear the word 'connection' or even the word 'computer' - they just wanna use something that works without them having to do anything but enjoy.
This is the issue, not whether or not techies "get it".
