You know, I actually agree with you for a number of reasons, the main being that person to person communication is chock full of regulations, permissions, and myriad civil considerations that are removed to varying degrees in other forms of communication - which introduces dangerous and/or progressive possibilities. That's why the written word revolutionized human beings like almost nothing else - the written word was the remove that provided increased power for those who could command its use.
