I think you're wrong. When W. C. Fields promised the gathered crowd that his crackpot concoction "cures hoarseness" we knew he was just trying to rip off the locals. When Steve Jobs says that Apple products "cure hoarseness", he'd better actually give us suckers an even break - or Apple could become toast.
