What with net-neut I don't trust Google with its hands on the future, but well, I love street view and think it's one of the coolest things online. Why Germans are so bunched on this is... well, too bad for them.
Other than the homes of a few greedsters with big assets, I rarely come across a a blocked house in California, and I wouldn't block mine - why tee off some teens or crooks who'd vandalize or rob the place just for payback... no sir, not me.
Only objection I have is that the current street view doesn't show our home's new paint job, and we're about to put the place up for sale, so... bummer.
I'm not scared of street view, but you go, Germans !
