John Mellencamp Likens Internet To A-Bomb


Jefferson proposed monetary compensation for intellectual pursuits, but he seems concerned with the fallout from turning ideas into assets and property. That's really as far as my own thinking goes, also, except that I believe that the affect on society of current copyright law is a runaway surrender of intelligence to the task of creating profit.



As your comments demonstrate, I surely do not have the answer, but I believe that it is an important issue for our society.
