Yeah, I have heard of Jung, but I've also heard of Karl Menninger and Julian Jaynes and others whose studies and observations on consciousness suggest that the process of thinking is a metaphor engine eating data - facts are nice, but not totally necessary - and spitting out consciousness. Someone once said that "history is what we choose it to be." - oh, wait a second, that was you. That's WTF I'm talking about.
