...you're probably right. The only way this will be OK with the public is if the public changes its definition of 'freedom' and 'security'. It's really the only good way out, because reality guarantees that 'security' will be the last thing we will surrender - no matter what. So, success is what we decide it is - our attitudes are what make 'freedom' and 'security' exist at the same time.
