Book By Winner Of Biggest Canadian Lit Prize Unavailable In Stores: Publisher Refuses To Increase Production


Sorry, that's not anywhere near enough perspective. If this kind of printing is a chokehold on an author's career, then it is not of value to authors. But the print publisher is not the artist we are concerned with here - it's the author. The print publisher does not do honor to anything by selecting its worth over that of the author. Both crafts could be served by simply thinking it through and proceeding properly - but so far that seems absent.
