
Stein's statement goes a long way in describing an honest fellow's misguided decision to try and describe his un-evolved emotions - which he hadn't realized had not grown along with the rest of his life. As he says, "I was shocked that I could feel a tiny bit uncomfortable with my changing town when I went to visit it."
It was a mistake to consider publishing it before his evolution was complete - when he presumably would understand why some knowledge is beyond the duty of words.
