Komen For The Cure Halts Grants To Planned Parenthood

I wish I was a regular donor to Komen, so I could stop. They are saying that any congressperson who can get an investigation started can determine Komen's affiliations. Completely repulsive and indefensible. Plus, since Komen sounds like they are not telling us what is actually going on, I really don't see any reason to trust anything they say.

New BART Cars Spark Outrage Over Cost And Outsourcing (PHOTOS)

The really important fact here is that this is all about the 'beauty' of non-regulation: "One of the main reasons for the increased expense is that when Bechtel designed BART in the 1960s, it made the tracks a non-standard width." This was solely done for profit, and "dooms" the system to be expensive - forever. While highly-duped rightwing fools sit in their lazy-boys fuming about the cost of government, there are people laughing at them from their Galaxy 5 as it passes overhead - probably every hour of the day.

Welfare Drug Testing Bill Withdrawn After Amended To Include Testing Lawmakers

A pack of fools. Anyone that doesn't know and accept that America enjoys its alcohol and its marijuana is wasting my time. Mormon Church's Prior Baptism Of Dead Jews Could Raise Concerns For Florida Voters

I keep stewing over this very unsettling information. I almost can't believe it's true...

May late aunt was a very faithful, religious Catholic. My problem with the Mormons is that one of them can evidently decide that her religious views weren't sufficient, and that she needs to be 'perfected' or improved through baptism into the Mormon faith - even after death, in order to satisfy a belief which she did not share, and completely against her wishes. I am glad she didn't hear about any of this - it would have horrified and frightened her.

I can't imagine any resolution to this that does not eradicate the egregious procedure altogether - as has been necessary with other practices of the Mormon church - and destroy all the stored records from the past.

Mormon Church's Prior Baptism Of Dead Jews Could Raise Concerns For Florida Voters

This really creeps me out.

I'm not Jewish, but I'm also definitely not Mormon. Until Romney answered that HE himself had non-Mormons baptized, I had no idea that anyone could just go ahead and do that to me without even asking - and then keep a record of it having been done in some vast billion-document Mormon archive somewhere, presumably forever.

How do we find out if we have been 'Baptized'? Evidently one of my Mormon friends (3) could have done this. This is really outrageous, and definitely has to stop.

Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews Disagree Over Mitch Daniels' State Of The Union Response (VIDEO)
