New BART Cars Spark Outrage Over Cost And Outsourcing (PHOTOS)


The really important fact here is that this is all about the 'beauty' of non-regula­tion: "One of the main reasons for the increased expense is that when Bechtel designed BART in the 1960s, it made the tracks a non-standa­rd width." This was solely done for profit, and "dooms" the system to be expensive - forever. While highly-dup­ed rightwing fools sit in their lazy-boys fuming about the cost of government­, there are people laughing at them from their Galaxy 5 as it passes overhead - probably every hour of the day.
