Money's Machine - and it's new roadies...



So I'm reading Luyendijk'­s really terrific article about someone's experience­s in a modern financial institutio­n, but I can't figure something out - where is the top? I can feel heat from above, and I see people moving toward it, but I can't sense a leader. For whom is the work being done? And the higher up I look, I see less flesh - but more power; with human beings obeying the predatory rules of 'Money's Machine'; in exchange for enough gold to silence their humanity.
