When it becomes crystal clear that republican deregulation - and the massive collapse of oversight - led directly to this disaster, anyone not blaming the GOP will obviously be idiots or those too rich to need anything from society except police. Unfortunately it won't change anything because the GOP also captured democracy and has it in a little box somewhere, having replaced it with a fear of others.
They win because we let them.
