Superman Getting New Costume As 'Action Comics' Relaunching With New No. 1

Ooops, slightly incorrect facts. "Action Comics" issue Number 1 in 1938 is the first time Superman ever appeared on a comic book cover - ever! He wore the red pants. Later, in the first issue of the the actual "Superman" comic he did not wear red pants.



So let's review - he first wore red pants, then later did not wear red pants, then later went back to the original red pants.
