Bull... Your "most" are guilty scenario is ridiculous. I know few people - if any - that want middle-eastern oil, or gulf oil, or Alaskan oil, or California coast oil. What they want is power, so their gear will work, and their car will drive, and they expect that their planet will not be sacrificed in the process.
Lookin' for the guilty? The people that are blocking the road out of the oil swamp are called the GOP.
