A Poverty Of Attention

Tony Schwartz: The Death of Depth: Less and Less of More and More: "Way back in 1971, Nobel Prize winner Herbert Simon saw the tsunami coming. 'What information consumes is rather obvious,' he wrote. 'It consumes the attention of its recipients. Hence a wealth of information creates a poverty of attention.'"
